Vinyl!  Two Albums Re-Pressed and Available with Bonus Disc

We're happy to announce that Golden Age of Radio (remastered too!) and The Animal Years have been repressed on vinyl and should all be at your local record store now, and in the Josh Ritter on-line store, here.

DMB Caravan in NYC Rescheduled for Sept. 18th

We're happy to report that the cancelled DMB Caravan show (due to Hurricane Irene) has been rescheduled for next weekend, September 16-18, on RANDALL'S ISLAND (note, this is not at Governor's Island like the originally planned show).

Josh and The Royal City Band perform on Sunday, September 18th.

Special Guests Read First Chapter of "Bright's Passage" in New Video

"Hey All!
Nearing the end of writing 'Bright's Passage' I got the idea in my head that it would be fun to give the first chapter to folks I work with, admire or am related to, to read in front of the camera. How great would it be if my brother would read a passage followed by my friend Glen, followed by Sam in my band followed by Tift Merritt? The idea stuck with me and I threw out some lines to folks to ask of they would, wherever they were, read a short passage from the first chapter of 'Bright's Passage' that I could stitch together with others into a video of the entire first chapter. This is the result and I want to thank everyone who gave generously of their time to make this. I hope you enjoy!

European Tour + "Live at the Iveagh Gardens" CD+DVD

Hello!

Our European tour starts this week (tickets HERE), and we have a special announcement to go with the tour...

On a rainy summer evening in July 2010, Dublin's wonderful Iveagh Gardens played host to its first ever set of concerts.  Josh & The Royal City Band were lucky enough to play the first ever rock show in the Gardens on that Sunday 18th July.

And guess what?  We recorded and filmed the show, and it turned out GREAT.

Available only as a limited edition 2xCD and 1xDVD, "Live at the Iveagh Gardens" will be available at ALL Josh's April European shows and in a select number of Irish shops and music venues.  Right now, this is a Europe-only release, but we are working on a US edition that will come out later in the year - please be patient with us (and enjoy the free songs) until then!
