Sorry for the interruption folks, but this was too cool not to share.

During Josh's show at The Tarrytown Music Hall this past Saturday night, the audience had quite the surprise for Josh and the band.  Thanks to an unknown fan (who are you?) who handed out glowsticks - with instructions - to the entire audience before the show, the performance of "Lantern" was a concert moment not to forget.

'Rattling Locks' Music Video Premiere, NY Shows This Weekend

Just a quick note with some cool news and worthy reminders!


"Rattling Locks" Video Premieres on Paste.com

We're happy to point you all to Paste Magazine's website, where a new music video - a photo essay - for "Rattling Locks" has just debuted!  Royal City Band keyboardist and producer Sam Kassirer has crafted the video, and has this to say about it:

"This video/photo essay was made exclusively with 120mm medium format photographs taken partially over 2009 US and Europe tours, and partially from a shoot with Josh to capture specific images that the song evokes. Locations include the London Eye, The Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans LA, and a piano tuning shop in Somerville, MA. Hopefully it comes across as sort of scary and a little bit funny."

Live in NYC This Weekend!

Remember that Josh and the band will be in Tarrytown, NY (tickets here) on Saturday night, and then headline a FREE outdoor concert on Governor's Island Sunday!  Part of the "Beach Concert" series, the show will also feature Justin Townes Earle and Dawn Landes.

It's really an island, folks - so you go by ferry.  More information - especially on getting there - can be found at www.thebeachconcerts.com.  Their FAQ is here.
