The show was not only aired live over the airwaves, but it is now streaming - THE FULL SHOW - for anyone, anywhere, to hear. Set List: 1. Rattling Locks 2. Rumors 3. Southern Pacific 4. The Curse 5. The "Secret Show" Last Week: A Special Night in Asbury Park, NJ If you haven't heard by now, Josh and the band stopped in Asbury Park, NJ last Thursday night to do a barely announced "rehearsal show" of sorts for their upcoming touring year.  It had been 7 years since Josh played The Saint, an intimate rock club that can hold just 175 people.  It was a memorable night filled with both rollicking new songs ("Rattling Locks") and stunning ones ("Another New World" and "The Curse"), combined with solo acoustic magic ("Folk Bloodbath," "Girl in the War" and "Come and Find Me" among them). The lucky fans in attendance were treated to a special night indeed.  Thank you to everyone who came! And we can't help but mention one particular fan in the audience...at least, we'll post the news as it appeared on the website "Backstreets": "WHAT TO DO ON A THURSDAY NIGHT IN ASBURY PARK" "If you're Bruce Springsteen, the choice last night would have been simple: head on down to The Saint and catch the not-so-secret "Secret Show" by Josh Ritter and his newly-named The Royal City Band.  Announced only ten days ago with minimal fanfare, the concert was a premiere of the songs from Josh's new album 'So Runs the World Away' and a pre-world tour rehearsal show.  Both Springsteen and the sold-out crowd appeared captivated by Ritter's mix of stylistic songsmithing with and without the band.  After the show was over, Bruce said hello to some fans before exiting into the band's dressing room; after half an hour, Bruce and Josh headed outside.  With a wave of his hand, Springsteen beckoned Ritter to climb into his car, and they drove off into the New Jersey night." Before the public entered to fill the floor, the band was captured performing a live version of "Rattling Locks", a new song from the forthcoming album So Runs The World Away. Last week, the new NBC television show featured Josh's new song "Change of Time" in their fourth episode. And boy did they! If you missed it, you can watch the entire episode online, for free.  Watch here. And if your time is precious or you just can't wait... You might want to go to the 38:25 mark.  ;-) Host a New Album 'Listening Party' in Your Town Would you like to host a So Runs the World Away listening party?  This means finding a local venue (bar, record store, your apartment), having a group of fans attend to listen to the record, putting up some posters around town to let folks know it's happening, and perhaps documenting it. We'll send you a copy of the album a week or so early, as well as some posters, and you get 2 guestlist spots to the Josh Ritter show in your town. We can't do this for everyone though; we'll likely pick about 10 fans to participate, so let us know how you  could make it a success. Cork Show Added + Hear 'Change of Time' on NBC's "Parenthood" Tonight

Spring Tour "Rehearsal Show" in Asbury Park NJ, March 25

The secret show is no longer a secret. We are excited to reveal that next week, on Thursday March 25th, Josh and the band will stop at 'The Saint' in Asbury Park, NJ to do an (until now) unannounced warm-up show for their Spring tour. This is a special concert in an intimate old setting for the band, where they'll be premiering new songs from their forthcoming album as well as dusting off some classics for the lucky fans in attendance. Tickets are on sale NOW, here. Presented by 90.5 The Night, WBJB radio, the show will also feature Rick Barry as support. Be quick!
